About the owners…
Mary Hunter Hancock and Amanda Esper are joining forces to bring the Barre craze to Paducah. They saw the need for a Barre fitness class in Western Kentucky and think Barre Company is the perfect fit!
Amanda graduated from Millsaps College in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration followed up with an MBA from Millsaps College in 2000. Post college Amanda worked in the Banking industry and then for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals in the Primary Care and Pain Divisions. Most recently Amanda worked as the Business Manager of Medical Spa 7 for the past 6 years. Amanda and her husband Josh have three children: Shepherd, Eliza and Vivienne. Owning a business has been a goal of Amanda’s since she worked at her family’s fabric store as a young girl.
Mary Hunter graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Finance in 2002. Upon graduation she was employed as a credit analyst for AmSouth Bank’s Healthcare Division in Nashville, TN. After marrying her husband Blann and moving to Paducah she worked for Eli Lilly’s Neuroscience Sales Division and for the last nine years has been a stay at home mom to her three children: Russell, Wells and Henry. She served as President of The Charity League of Paducah and has been a member of the Easter Seals Board of Directors for the last 6 years, where she is currently serving as Chairman-Elect.
Healthy living and working out have long been a part of their lives, however being introduced to Barre Company and this incredible workout has challenged them to work smarter and harder. Amanda and Mary Hunter are most looking forward to sharing the benefits of Barre with Paducah and watching their clients change into stronger, better versions of themselves.
